May saw a pastel workshop with new visiting artist Greg Howard, showing members techniques in creating landscape using pastels.
June workshops begin with a morning session on the 11th with fellow member Rita Denby demonstrating creative use of imaginary landscapes using watercolour, ink and acrylic. These might be inspired by a favourite place or the flowers in a garden. The sky’s the limit!
This is followed on the 25th by a full day workshop with Francis Winder, another new demonstrator to Cartmel Art Society. She uses different mediums to create loose, painterly and colourful art.
