We enjoy twice monthly meetings held in Cartmel Village Hall, Cartmel LA11 6QB on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday.
The 2nd Wednesday is generally a morning workshop 10am – 1pm with a CAS member arranging the demonstration or theme for you to join in.
The 4th Wednesday is a day workshop from 10am until 3pm with a professional artist to demonstrate their genre and a chance for you to have a go and learn something new in a friendly and inspiring environment. Show and tell at the end and chance for photos.

Just a quick note about our morning workshops. When a member of the art society is demonstrating a particular style or theme, please don’t feel that you have to join in with the activity if you’d rather not. You’re very welcome to bring along something you’re already working on and spend the session on that instead.
We’d like to keep things as relaxed and flexible as possible so that everyone can enjoy CAS and get the most out of it in the way that suits them best.
