October saw a workshop featuring “Bees, Birds & Bunnies” led by Julia and Tanya. We were pleased to be joined by three new members for this meeting. This was followed by Jamie Oldham, a new visiting artist to the club, demonstrating “Expressive Outdoor Scenes”. The theme for this demonstration was inspired by a photograph of grasses on the foreshore provided by Jamie. Working on several paintings at the same time, he encouraged members to explore their creativity and emotions.
November 11th features fellow member Ann Fitch demonstrating the technique of painting various types of mist. This will be followed on the 28th by our popular guest artist Graham Twyford, returning with a full day workshop working in acrylic. The subject for this session is yet to be confirmed.
